Security deposit options for residential service:
  • $500.00 monetary payment – Installment plan may be offered.
  • Acceptable letter of credit from a previous power supplier – This letter of credit must indicate that service has been in good standing, with no more than two consecutive late payments, no returned checks, and no disconnects in the past 12 calendar months.
  • Electric Service Deposit Cosigner Agreement – Cosigner agreement must be signed by current member that is in good standing with Aiken Electric Cooperative.
  • Acceptable credit rating from the Cooperative designated Credit Bureau.

Operation Round Up

Provide the opportunity for members who participate in having their electric bill rounded up to the nearest dollar are donating that “spare change” (an average of $6 per year per participant) to benefit others.

 

Go Green, Save Green

Receive a $2 bill credit for 12 months when you use both E-billing and Bank Draft to pay your electric bill. You’ll receive a link to access your bill in an e-mail each month instead of receiving a paper bill.

 

Levelized Billing

Available to qualified residential members who wish to be able to budget in advance for their utility bills. Levelized billing uses a rolling average of your electric bill for the most recent 12 months.

 

Third-Party Notification

A free service that allows a designated third party to be notified should a loved one’s electric bill become past due or be subject to disconnection.
