What Is The Levelized Billing Program? With Aiken Electric’s Levelized Billing program, you can guard against large fluctuations in your electric bill caused by changes in the weather. Aiken Electric considers your past usage and future energy costs. Then we bill you for that amount monthly. Because a "rolling average" method is used, your amount due may change somewhat from month to month, but the program is designed so that the change won't usually be a large amount. How Can I Qualify For Levelized Billing? The requirements for participating in the Levelized Billing program are an acceptable credit rating on your account and you have been a member of Aiken Electric for one (1) year at the same service location. How Much Does It Cost To Participate? The Levelized Billing program is free. There are no sign-up charges or monthly fees. All you need to do is keep your account current - which is easy if you also participate in our Bank Draft program. What’s more, your bill will show you the number of kilowatt hours of electricity you use each month, but you’ll only pay for the average yearly usage. How Do I Apply For Levelized Billing?
